Doesn’t Living In Sunshine Sound Like Fun?

I could live here and be happy! When people spend a few days in Florida on vacation they often say to themselves how happy they would be if only they lived there. Obviously not everyone will follow through on it but enough will to make Florida not only one of the top vacation spots in the US but one of the top real estate locations.
So what would you do if you moved to Florida? Well you could do the things that you do on holiday but every weekend and holiday. If you like golf, well you can play it every day, if you like the beach then buy a home near to the beach. Moving to Florida isn’t hard and there are some beautiful houses available.
One of the toughest things to decide can be how close to certain things you want to be. There is a element of pay off when deciding which part of Florida to move to. Luckily enough no where is too far away so as long as you are prepared for a bit of a drive you will be ok.
So now you know you want to move to Florida what is the next step? Well like any house move you have to make sure that you are moving to the right location. Exactly which part of Florida are you moving to? If you just say you want to be near a nice beach you still have 100′s of towns open to you. So you need to spend some time thinking about exactly what you want from your new home.
Choosing where to live is a bit easier if you are just looking for yourself but if you have a family then it becomes more complicated. You should sit down with everyone and see what people hope to get in your new home.If you have kids this can be very difficult but it is better to know upfront what they are hoping for so you can keep an eye out for it.
One of the big questions isn’t whether or not you should move to Florida it is which part of Florida is right for you and your family. Make sure that you spend as much time as is needed to ensure that the location you choose is going to be one that you are all going to like. There is no point buying a home you love but in an area that no one else feels safe in or one that is miles from the nearest mall if your wife loves to shop.
